Research in motion.
Our projects are places to test ideas with others. Some are studies; some are prototypes, public programmes, or collaborations. All are designed to generate insight that can travel.
The Metis Framework
Applies principles from how machine learning systems are built back to human learning and development — the framework underlying the Lab's wider research.
Epistemic Audit Framework
A diagnostic framework for assessing how epistemic agency holds up as an organisation adopts AI into its reasoning. Currently a working paper, moving toward a practical audit tool.
Meta-Books
A working prototype that restructures a conventional text into typed, linked knowledge objects an AI system can reason with, rather than just search. Presented at ECKM 2026.
Read the paper →Tacit Knowledge and Leadership Learning
Interview-based research using Generative Maieutic Dialogue, developed from leadership education data and currently moving toward journal submission.
Decision-Making in Human-AI Collaboration
An early prototype and pilot studying how decision quality changes when people reason through a problem together with AI, tested with a small group of real decision-makers.
